what is Carboxytherapy?

a non-invasive method in aesthetic medicine and dermatology, and the combined usage of carboxytherapy and PRP in the periorbital area.

Reduction of stretch marks, cellulite, and dark circles under the eyes

My Spa Expert is one of the few clinics that has the most innovative Julie apparatus, which is the first in the world independently selects treatment parameters both for the indication and the severity of the problem. The key to the patient’s comfort is the mechanism of
double heating of carbon dioxide, thanks to which the treatment is less painful. In turn, the two-stage process of gas filtration allows for maintaining the highest sterility of the administered carbon dioxide. Carboxytherapy is a minimally invasive procedure involving intradermal or subcutaneous injection of medical carbon dioxide using a thin needle. It is precisely measured, and when it begins to spread through the tissues, blood vessels are dilated. Blood flow along with nutrients is also increased, allowing for improved microcirculation, cell renewal, and strong oxygenation of the skin. The body responds to the application of medical CO2 with controlled inflammation, which stimulates collagen production. It comes to faster lymph circulation, which eliminates swelling and provides a rejuvenating effect. Carboxytherapy treatment is not painful, but during the procedure, the patient may feel a momentary, gentle spreading and tingling.

HOW MANY CARBOXYTHERAPY TREATMENTS SHOULD BE PERFORMED?

During the first visit we always carefully consult the needs of the patient. In our experience, the minimum series consists of 6 treatments. Reduction of locally accumulated fat may require more treatments depending on the desired effect.

HOW LONG DO THE EFFECTS OF CARBOXYTHERAPY LAST?

It all depends on the purpose of the treatment. Stretch marks undergoing treatment do not return to their original state. Cellulite or locally accumulated fatty tissue is subject to reduction, the durability of which also depends on lifestyle and compliance with post treatment recommendations. Depending on the severity of changes after a series of treatments, we always recommend performing reminder treatments usually once every three months. The situation is similar with the treatment of dark circles and swelling under the eyes. In the case of skin revitalization of the hands, face, neck and cleavage, the frequency of one series per year is appropriate, plus possibly additional reminder treatments or home care.

HOW LONG DOES A CARBOXYTHERAPY TREATMENT LAST?

The duration of the treatment depends on the area on which it is performed and the dose of carbon dioxide applied. For example, the eye area lasts only 5 minutes, the hands 10 minutes, face, neck and cleavage or thighs about 30 minutes.

WHAT ARE THE RECOMMENDATIONS AFTER CARBOXYTHERAPY TREATMENT?

irritating cosmetic preparations;

Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Does the carboxytherapy treatment hurt?

During the treatment, you may feel a mild spreading sensation at the site of gas administration. The discomfort disappears immediately after the treatment.

2. Is carboxytherapy treatment safe?
Definitely yes. At My Spa Expert, we use a world-class device appreciated by many doctors of aesthetic medicine. Moreover, the treatment is performed only by a qualified person with experience.

3. Can a carboxytherapy treatment be performed on several areas during one visit?

Everything depends on the area on which the carboxytherapy treatment is to be performed. During one treatment session, a certain amount of gas can be applied, so it is not always possible to combine several treatment areas during one visit. However,
everything will be carefully planned during the first visit.

4. Can Carboxytherapy be combined with other treatments?

During one visit we do not recommend performing carboxytherapy and another treatment for the same body part. However, combination therapies, which consist of carboxytherapy and another method performed on different days, work great. To improve facial skin

firmness and reduce wrinkles we recommend combining carboxytherapy with micro- needle mesotherapy or radiofrequency. In the case of dark circles and swelling under the eyes we often reach for additional care ritual for the eye area. When eliminating cellulite we use a combination of carboxytherapy and BTL treatment. This duet is also ideal for post-pregnancy women struggling with stretch marks and flabby skin of the abdomen.
When working on removing the tire or breeches we additionally use Arosha Body Wrap.
